What materials do you use for banners?

Most of our banners are printed on 13-ounce scrim vinyl — a heavyweight, weather-resistant material that’s durable enough for outdoor use over multiple seasons. For lighter-duty indoor banners we use 9-ounce vinyl or banner mesh. For premium fabric banners, we offer polyester knit with stitched hems. We help select the right material based on intended use, environment, and lifespan.

What sizes can banners be made in?

We can produce banners from small 2-foot trade-show signs up to 10-foot-tall by 50-foot-wide building wraps. For very large installations, we can join panels with sewn or welded seams. Standard “go-to” sizes for retail and event use are 3×6, 4×8, and 5×10 feet, but everything we produce is custom to the project.

How do you finish banner edges and grommets?

Standard finishing includes hemmed edges (folded and welded seams that resist tearing) and brass grommets every 24 inches around the perimeter for tie-down with rope, zip ties, or bungees. For higher-wind environments, we add reinforced corners and pole pockets. Indoor banners can be finished with hook-and-loop or stitched edges depending on display method.

Are banners durable enough for outdoor use?

Yes. 13-ounce scrim vinyl banners with proper finishing can withstand 1 to 3 seasons of continuous outdoor exposure. Sun exposure is the main wear factor; banners parked in direct south-facing UV may fade noticeably after 12 to 18 months. We can apply UV-protective laminate for banners that need to last longer, or recommend mesh banners for high-wind locations.

Can banners be re-used for repeat events?

Definitely. Banners that are stored properly (rolled, not folded, in a dry climate-controlled space) can be re-used for years. We design event banners to avoid time-specific details (like dates) when possible, so the same banner serves multiple events. Banner storage tubes are inexpensive and dramatically extend reusable life.

What’s the turnaround time for a custom banner?

Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 business days from artwork approval. Rush production is available, sometimes same-day or next-day for an additional fee depending on size and complexity. For events with hard deadlines we recommend approving artwork at least a week in advance.

Do you offer banner stands or hardware?

Yes. We carry retractable banner stands (popular for trade shows and lobby displays), X-stands, telescoping pole displays, and step-and-repeat backdrops with hardware. We can also fabricate custom banner frames for permanent or semi-permanent outdoor installations. The right hardware depends on the banner’s intended use, transport needs, and reusability.
